Cafe Euringer in Augsburg

The bee sting alone deserves five stars?

Since there are unfortunately hardly any pastry shops with a large selection of cakes in Augsburg (only a few bakery chains), you inevitably end up here if you are looking for a larger selection of cakes. The selection is actually good, but the taste of the cakes and pastries is mediocre in my opinion - I have been here several times and had tried different cakes (e.g. cheesecake, raspberry cake or three different types of Christmas cookies), but I didn't like them all tasted that I would definitely buy this again. Otherwise, prices were okay and the shop assistants were also normal-friendly, so it's a shame that the cakes don't taste that good.

Moldy tunnel! Already bought several times at Euringer Stollen and been satisfied. Always the shrink-wrapped, packaged. Today I was sold a moldy poppy seed cake ? There is never an expiration date on the packaging, now I can imagine why, I don't even want to know how long this was in the display. And that for the proud price of 21 € / kg

Unfortunately, I only saw the piece of cake at home while unpacking ... the width was just under 4 cm ... so it was just wide enough that it could still stand by itself and you didn't have to support it. What really annoyed me, however, was that the front was simply missing quite a bit and the existing "tip" was so thin that you could probably have read through the newspaper. Sorry, that doesn't work! If that happens while cutting the cake, then I put the piece away and cut a new one - or at least I ask the customer if he can take it anyway for a discount. At least I ate it myself and didn't get it for guests because, unlike the saleswoman, I would have been embarrassed to offer something like that.

The ladies are very personable and the cake is always great.

Virus spinner Euringer? My favorite confectioner only lets 2 buyers at once in the shop in corona times, but the distance to the waitress, without masks, without spook protection, cash payment, is far too short. Please improve the protection of your people and your guests. Thank you.

Super delicious cakes and pastries. Everything sweet is homemade and presented very invitingly. The interior of the café is a bit dated (plastic flowers and old lamps) and has the charm of the 70s. Nevertheless, it invites you to linger. Great coffee that doesn't taste bitter and nice service. Prices for the cakes are reasonable (3.50-3.80 each). All in all highly recommended for a cozy coffee chat!

There were three of us in the café, drinking coffee and eating cake. The cakes are just a poem, as always. However, I have to criticize the café. It's getting old. I have the impression that it has not been renovated in over 30 years. The carpet is simply used up, the chairs could use new covers again. It is also difficult acoustically, the seating is tight. The staff made no professional impression. It should be auxiliary workers. The cake was served with the transport foil on the plate. In the future I will do it again and buy the cake in the shop and prefer to drink the coffee at home.

A cake shop you'll meet when you go to Fuggerai from City Hall. It is also open on Sundays. You can eat a piece of delicious cake for about 2-3 euros. It's different from Korean cake, so it's worth eating.

Nice place to stay when visiting Rothenberg. Great food and good rooms...old styled.

It was awesome ♡ Even if you look from the outside, pretty sweets are lined and when you enter the shop there are lots of cakes! A gentle woman asked "Do you want to eat it in the shop or take it home?" I got very lost and waited with a smile even though I could not decide easily. Customer service at the cafe was also wonderful! The cake was, of course, delicious! Moreover, I think that it is cheap. It's about 10 € for 2 cakes and 2 coffees.

Such small coffee shop people easily miss a gaze while walking down the street, then you will probably sorry miss a chance to taste the fine desserts and delicious cakes here to offer. It like grandmother's kitchen with delicate favors make me fall for them. The space is rather small, I prefer order 'to go'.
